Neighborhoods, Beaches, Marinas
Welcome > Local Info > Neighborhoods, Beaches, Marinas ...

With hidden beaches, hundreds of secluded islands, and some of the best fishing in the area, it's no wonder that Marco Island has many Marinas to choose from. Rent a boat and explore, dock your personal vessel, or just have a drink and take in the nautical scenery.

Amidst the coastal atmosphere on Marco Island,
The Esplanade Marina offers the famous Southwest Folrida boating lifestyle in a first class facility. Staying true to it's historic roots, the marina offers boating trips to secluded tropical islands With access to plenty of shops and first class restaurants to watch the breathtaking sunsets, it has all the ingredients of a nautical paradise.

Cedar Bay Marina is a full service marine center with boat rental services and the Cedar Bay Yaught Club. Enjoy boating to one of the numerous tiny islands in the area while watching dolphins swim by and manatee graze right next to your boat. You can own a piece of paradise with membership at the Cedar Bay Yaught Club. With discounts in the reataurant, valet parking, complimentary boat washes and unlimited in/out service for your boat, you'll see why membership has it's priviledges.

The Marco Island Yaught Club was designed with the classic "old Florida" style and one of the first things you'll see as you cross the Jolley Bridge. The Marco Island Yaught Club is the gateway to paradise. Members and guests are treated to some of the best views in Southwest Florida at the Clubhouse built right on the Marco River and yaught basin.

Nestled in the mangrove islands of Southwest Florida's coast, the tropical sun washed beaches of  Marco Island are a destination spot for residents and tourists alike. Described as Magical, Mystical and Alluring, the white sands and blue waters stretch along the six mile coast of the largest of the 10,000 islands.

Tigertail Beach  is a mile long white sand beach located on the loveliest part of the island. With plentiful parking and reasonable rates ($3.00/day) it is a fantastic sopt for swimming, picnicing and water sports. Open from 8am to sunset beach goers can enjoy such ammenities as concession stands, beach equipment rental, restrooms, picnic tables, payground and showers at the largest public beach on the island.

The Residents Beach as the name suggests is an exclusive beach for the local residents of the island. Offering Chickee huts and tables, a variety of vending machines, showers, restrooms and a children's play area the beach reflects the casual elegance of San Marco's island setting.

South Beach is the south section of the residents beach that is open to the public. Open from 8am to sunset, South Beach lets the tourists catch a glimpse of life as a resident of one of the most sought after communities in Southwest Florida.

A spot that is not officially designated as a beach but is frequently used by local islanders is the area adjacent to the Judge Jolley Bridge, the primary entrance to the island. Both sides of the bridge offer water access and the sandy stretch bordering the Marco Island Yaught Club is often used for wading, swimming and launching canoes or kayaks.

Real Estate Tips
Relocation >Buying Out Of State

People who are moving to another state are usually concerned about how they will be able to monitor the purchase or sale of a home across state lines. Your local real estate agent can assist you in the process of buying or selling property out-of-state.

The National Association of Realtors is a nation-wide network of real estate sales professionals, similar to the local Association of Realtors. Almost every real estate professional is who is a member of the local association is also a member of the national organization. This professional affiliation among real estate agents all across the country works to your advantage when you buy or sell out-of-state property.

Your local real estate agent can contact an agency in the area where you want to buy or sell. When the relationship with the out-of-state real estate agent is established, your agent can coordinate arrangements by selecting houses for your consideration and helping you to strike a deal when you have made a selection. Having a local sales professional to help you work out any problems that may arise is a real plus.
